There's a story that's told that Outlaw folk hero Jesse James was once
practicing with a pistol that went off on him and caused him to holler.
His friends who were with him and concerned that he might have been
injured, came up to him and saw that he'd only shot off a small part of
his little finger, and heard him exclaim " That's the DOD-DANGEST pistol
I ever saw!!" Relieved he wasn't hurt, they laughed heartily and from that
day on, just to pick on him, nicknamed him Dangess.
So, in the spirit of true rebellion and outlaw notoriety, we'd like to honor
that nickname and give it some Rockin' Blues music to go along with it...
That's why we call this band Joe Miranda and the Dangest Blues Band.
And sometimes, just for simplicity's sake, and when we feel like it,
if we do, just: Dangess.
